Documenting One HK Family as it Grows Up: Toddler to Teen

Hong Kong family portraits over 12 years.

Family photography doesn’t take up much time., but a thing I hear a lot in Hong Kong is “we just can’t find an hour this year.” Fine, I get it, everyone is crazy busy, but there are 8000+ hours in a year, so finding one shouldn’t really be a massive problem. (Our mom raised six kids without a helper and got a photo shoot in every year!)

Here’s a HK family that did six photo shoots between 2012 and 2023. Check the video to see what they ended up with. Took 6 hours out of approximately 80,000 hours in that time frame.

As you document your every evolving family, you also include the city as almost a character in your family’s photo session. For this type of photo session, Hong Kong is the world’s ultimate site for stunning photography backdrops.

I have a ‘collection’ of over 100 locations for family photo ideas. If you would like to discuss a session contact me for a chat.
