Hong Kong Pet Photography | Dogs & their Families
Dog Photography Where You All Feel Most Comfortable
I photograph dogs as part of the family, not as props. Sessions take place where your dog is most relaxed: at home, on a quiet beach, in a favourite park, or somewhere you both love. The goal isn't a perfectly posed dog. It's pet photography that actually feels like your dog. There is little difference between pets and a regular Hong Kong family photography session, they just move a little more quickly!
Shy Rescue Dogs, Hyper Puppies — I've Photographed Them All
I've spent years volunteering with Hong Kong Dog Rescue, HKSPCA and Catherine's Puppies, so I'm comfortable photographing dogs with very different personalities, from shy rescues who need time to warm up to puppies who simply refuse to sit still.
Where We Can Photograph Your Dog
Your dog's comfort matters more than finding the “perfect” backdrop. We can photograph your session at home, outdoors, at the beach, or somewhere your dog already knows and loves.
The Wan Chai Waterfront: Open space for dogs who need to move.
Sheung Wan Backstreets: Colourful backstreets for urban dog photography.
Cyberport Waterfront Park: Grass and ocean backdrop, ideal for action shots.
Stanley: Stanley remains the perfect Southside location for pet and family photos.
At-Home: Some dogs (and cats!) are more relaxed are more comfortable at home.
Not sure where to go? I'll help you choose.

No. I'm a family portrait photographer who's been photographing people with their dogs for twenty years. These sessions are for owners and dogs together, everyone gets in the photo.

No!
Actually the vast majority of the dog photos I take outdoors, the dog is on a leash. Quite often, but not always, I can edit it out in Photoshop. (Leashes are easier to edit out than full harnesses.)

Short answer, wherever your dog is most comfortable!
Pet photography in Hong Kong does take a little more planning than in some other cities, but there are plenty of great options.
I love Stanley and Sheung Wan for Hong Kong Island sessions, and Sai Kung town is an easy spot for dog photos too.

Yes of course, we just need a home with some large windows for nice light, and ideally a garden outside to run around a bit.
Dogs are generally most comfortable at home, which is why I make the effort to do the sessions there whenever possible.

Can do!
I am running Mini Sessions at Repulse Bay Beach in October and November. These are short 15 minute sessions with 10 hi-res image files for HKD2450.
Perfect for the annual holiday card, social media, and the photo wall update!
