Commissioned to document the ADB's $2 billion investment in clean energy infrastructure across Asia — from solar installations in rural Nepal to large-scale wind farms in China and geothermal projects in the Philippines. A five-country assignment requiring remote access, local partner coordination and a lot of airports.

Brief to document several CARE Bangladesh projects in the north part of the country, with an emphasis on capturing images of women in positive roles. Among these projects were “Food Security for the Ultra Poor in the Haor Region” and “Strengthening Poorest and Vulnerable Households Capability to Improve Food Security in Northwest Bangladesh”. Worked with local grass-roots organizations at every level of the project.

Documentary photography for FHI360 (USAID) covering HIV/AIDS vulnerability across Cambodian communities — working with sex workers, at-risk youth, and marginalised families in and around Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

Photography for a 25th anniversary coffee-table book for the Theun-Hinboun Power Company in Laos. Documenting operations, facilities, dams as well as those affected upstream and downstream from the project. First big drone project.

Helen Keller International project documenting food security among the Chakma people of Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts. Remote access on foot. Communities under severe pressure from land encroachment and food scarcity.

Photographing schools and daily life in several regions of Bangladesh. Specifically tasked to document the SHIKHON and CHEVRON non-formal programs to improve literacy and improve life skills for disadvantaged children.

Five camps. Some of the most remote terrain in Thailand. This assignment for The Border Consortium began the week Washington suspended all USAID funding — making the documentation of these largely self-governing communities suddenly more critical. A mix of portraiture, operational photography, and daily life.
