Pet Photography Hong Kong | Dogs & the People Who Love Them
Photographed Where Your Dog Feels Most Comfortable
I photograph dogs as part of family portraits in Hong Kong, not as props. Sessions happen where your dog is most relaxed: your home, a quiet beach, or a spot in the city you both love. Hong Kong isn't the most dog-friendly city, but that just means we find the moments that matter in the places that do.
Dog Photography Locations Across Hong Kong
The Wan Chai Waterfront: Open space for dogs who need to move.
Sheung Wan Backstreets: Colorful backstreets for urban dog photography.
Cyberport Waterfront Park: Grass and ocean backdrop, ideal for action shots.
Stanley: Stanley remains the perfect Southside location for pet and family photos.
At-Home: Some dogs (and cats!) are more relaxed are more comfortable at home.
Having spent years photographing rescues as a volunteer at Hong Kong Dog Rescue, HKSPCA and Catherine’s Puppies, I’ve learned how to work with every kind of dog personality, from the shyest rescue to the most hyper puppy.
I have also volunteered extensively with the K9 USAR Thailand Canine Rescue Team, arguably the most well-known K9 Rescue Unit in Asia.

No. I'm a family portrait photographer who's been photographing people with their dogs for twenty years. These sessions are for owners and dogs together, everyone gets in the photo.
-
No!
Actually the vast majority of the dog photos I take outdoors, the dog is on a leash. Quite often, but not always, I can edit it out in Photoshop. (Leashes are easier to edit out than full harnesses.)
-
Short answer, wherever your dog is most comfortable!
Pet photography in Hong Kong does take a little more planning than in some other cities, but there are plenty of great options.
I love Stanley and Sheung Wan for Hong Kong Island sessions, and Sai Kung town is an easy spot for dog photos too.

Yes of course, we just need a home with some large windows for nice light, and ideally a garden outside to run around a bit.
Dogs are generally most comfortable at home, which is why I make the effort to do the sessions there whenever possible.

Can do!
I am running Mini Sessions at Repulse Bay Beach in October and November. These are short 15 minute sessions with 10 hi-res image files for HKD2450.
Perfect for the annual holiday card, social media, and the photo wall update!
