Your wedding day is uniquely yours, and the way it’s documented should feel the same.

I combine documentary storytelling with classic natural-light portraiture, capturing the real emotions, laughter, and connections that make your day unforgettable. I don’t stage a fashion shoot, and I don’t over-direct, your day should feel authentic, not orchestrated.

Remember, after the flowers fade and the catering is gone, the photos are what remain, and, of course, your marriage! My goal is to preserve the moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.

I specialize in smaller, intimate weddings, where natural light and genuine interactions shine. That said, I also love photographing the lively celebration and all the fun of your party!

Over the years, I’ve captured weddings in Hong Kong, Thailand (Koh Samui, Phuket), Bangkok, Toronto, Vancouver Island, Montreal, Macau, Mexico, USA, and my hometown of Picton, Ontario.

While my current focus is focused on on delivering fun, natural, and candid Hong Kong Family Photography, I am still taking on the occasional wedding when it’s the right fit for my natural style.

  • A seasoned pro told me at the start of my career; "Follow the energy", so that is my starting point. You can't go wrong.

    But I am always looking for quiet moments as well. Contemplation. Little details. These all make up the story of the day.

    The style is mostly "documentary". (I know everyone says that!) Check out my work, you see I take the same approach with family photography.

    Mixed in with the documentary images are plenty of portraits.

    Overall it's a mix of engagement and observing.

    Photography is about 'seeing', that's it. I don't come in with a cookie-cutter list of shots. I see every shoot with 'new eyes' and capture the unique moments of the day.

  • I am available everywhere and anywhere. I like to travel, which is evident if you have a look at my website.

  • I have a very straightforward package. Please contact me directly to get my current rates.

  • No second shooters, no videographers. I am a Lone Wolf when it comes to photography. I've always worked like that.

    I am there to tell the story through my own eyes, not those of an assistant.

    But I like to take a lot of photos...

  • Expect to receive around 75-100 images from every hour of coverage. Images are edited in the style you see in my gallery.

    My editing style is normally referred to as "true to life". I don't apply heavy presets.

    I include some black & white if I think they are appropriate for the scene.

    Everything is sent via Dropbox in the highest possible resolution, as well as resized and optimized for social media.

  • At this point I'm not doing pre-wedding sessions. Most of these are completely scripted and posed, but I prefer a mix of posed and documentary-style candid photography as you see in my gallery.
