Hong Kong Photography Class

With an Experienced Photographer

Do you own a nice camera you’ve barely used?

Would you like to photograph your own family instead of hiring a photographer (i.e. me) for an hour every year?

Or, how about one of your kids becomes your family photographer?

Photography, like skiing or playing the piano, requires a knowledge of the basics and consistent follow-up. The quickest, easiest way forward is by

One-2-One Coaching

Through a combination of in-person workshops and remote support I can absolutely turn you into a competent photographer in a few short months. Some people get it in weeks.

The method is simple, we get together for a few hours where I show you the need-to-know settings on your camera. Then we go through the basics of light and framing. Finally we go and take some photos together. The initial meeting takes three to four hours. This is where most coaching ends, and why most lessons and weekend workshops fail 100%.

You absolutely need follow up instruction.

Can you learn tennis with one lesson?

Below is a sample of how I do remote support for photographers. I show what works, what doesn’t, what it does/doesn’t and show you how to fix issues on your specific camera. Nobody takes this extra step.

With my method you send me photos and I make focused, detailed videos with audio about your work. Lighting, angles, exact camera settings for your camera, I do it all. I make sure you become a photographer for less than the price of <yet another> lens.

You need minimal gear, I will advise on what you need and even go to the camera shop with you if possible. And my rates are for your entire family, not just one person. All your photos will improve: landscape, travel, food, pets and more. It’s the same principle with everything, but start through the lens of photographing your kidlets before they grow up.

Where most “coaches” just send you a bunch of pre-written ‘content’ for $$$$, I actually teach using your photos. If you get motivated and practice, you can’t not improve!

And if you have granddad’s camera, I can teach you how to use that as well!
