What is the flow of a typical relaxed family session?

Sessions typically start with essential full-family group shots. Then, I focus on individual portraits, followed by letting the kids play naturally to capture those 'Kids Being Kids' candid moments. Finally, we incorporate parent-child interaction.

Which Hong Kong locations do you recommend?

For Regular Sessions, I photograph anywhere in Hong Kong. Demi Sessions are offered at convenient locations near Causeway Bay (Asia Society, HK Park, etc.). I guide you to locations with the best light for flattering photos.

Should we book a weekday or weekend session?

Weekday mornings are ideal for fewer crowds, better light, and easier access to scenic spots. Sunday slots fill quickly. Booking early, especially in the season, allows flexibility for weather rescheduling.

What exactly is included in the Demi Session?

A Demi Session is 30-40 minutes near Causeway Bay, yielding 20 high-res retouched images. It's best for smaller groups (up to four people) or toddlers who need a shorter commitment.

I'm visiting Hong Kong, can I book a session?

Absolutely. I often photograph visiting clients. Just let me know your travel dates, and I'll recommend the best time and location based on the season and optimal light.

Is your pricing all-inclusive (no hidden fees)?

Yes, my pricing is all-inclusive and transparent, with no pressure to buy extra products. The rates reflect the high value of professional, experienced work without the hidden costs or constant upselling of some newer photographers.

What are your booking and payment terms?

Booking requires a quick confirmation of date, session type, and general location. A non-refundable retainer secures your date, with the balance due before photo delivery. A contract and questionnaire will be sent after booking.

How should we prepare for a stress-free photoshoot?

Preparation tips include bringing water, snacks, bug spray, and a change of clothes (especially for beach sessions). Focus on keeping the family refreshed and comfortable. Simple, neutral-colored blankets and bubbles can also be useful additions.

Do you offer sessions for multi-generational or large groups?

Yes, large groups are welcome. Please note that sessions with over six people incur an extra HKD300 per person due to increased editing and coordination. For large groups, assigning a coordinator to manage the shot list is essential.

Can we include our family pet in the photos?

Pets are welcome! They often make sessions more fun, though location options may be slightly limited due to Hong Kong's public space restrictions for animals.

What is your rain/cancellation policy?

I only reschedule for severe conditions (heavy rain or safety issues). Overcast skies are ideal for soft light. I keep dedicated calendar space for reschedules and will find a new time that works if necessary.

What happens after the session?

You receive a private online gallery of lightly edited proofs within 10 business days to select your favourites. Final edited, high-resolution images are delivered within two weeks of your selection.

How many high-resolution photos will we receive?

The number depends on your package (Demi: 20; Regular: 40). My output is a carefully curated set that represents your session—focusing on quality, range, and genuine moments.

Every image is professionally edited in my timeless style, including color correction and minor cleanup. Advanced retouching (e.g., removing large objects, head swaps) is available for an additional quote.

Extra edited hi-res files are available at HKD150 each (minimum 5). Bulk quotes for the entire gallery are available on request.

Regular Sessions include a complimentary album, which I design using your selected images. This streamlined process allows me to offer the album as a valued perk at no extra cost to you.

Can I print the final images myself (personal license)?

Yes, you own all your images and receive a personal printing release, allowing you to print, make albums, or create wall art at any print shop without further purchase from me.

Do you use our photos for promo?

Yes, I selectively use images to showcase my work on my website and social media without your name or precise location. A one-time opt-out fee of HKD500 is available for complete privacy.
