Hong Kong Cake Smash Photo Session
OK, I didn’t think a cake smash session, even in Hong Kong where they have some pretty amazing bakeries, would be my thing, but I was wrong. It was super fun and photogenic. Obviously this is a one year old thing, but it would be fun with older kids, or even an adult? Don’t know if that’s ever been done before! The only thing was watching an amazing cake being destroyed. I thought about the ‘8 Second Rule’, but figured it might be rude if I ate some. (“This part didn’t even touch the floor!”)
I see that most of these Hong Kong cake smash events happen in studios in Hong Kong, but I am happen to go to the kid’s home to record it. Much less stressful, but more clean-up!
Here are a few shots from the session. Very cute kid and a very photogenic family, even if I don’t show them all here. I also like to combine these types of sessions with a normal family portrait session, once everyone gets cleaned up!
