Hi, I’m Ian — a family photographer based in Hong Kong since 2007. For more than 20 years, I’ve been capturing the real stories of families, children, and the everyday moments that often pass too quickly.

My journey began in the late ’90s when my five siblings started having kids. Watching my nieces and nephews grow made me realize how important it is to preserve those fleeting, unscripted moments. That same philosophy drives my work today in Hong Kong and beyond.

I specialize in natural, candid family portraits — no stiff poses or forced smiles. Kids often lead the way in my sessions, because they know better than anyone how to make the experience fun and authentic. My superpower is getting children comfortable within minutes, which lets their real personalities shine through.
