Bangkok Family Photographer Since 2010
Temples have great light light in overcast or sunny days.
Bangkok, despite all its various charms, has never really been called a “beautiful city”. There are beautiful aspects to it of course, and a few small corners are extremely photogenic, but overall it’s a flat lo-rise sprawl, to the horizon, in every direction. There is very little public green space, so whatever there is, can be quite busy.
The opposite would be Hong Kong, which has literally hundreds of locations for family photography, with its world-class mix of urban, beaches and parks. And Hong Kong has hills!

Anyway, back to Bangkok. The thing about the locations I use here is that are they are perfect, there’s just not a ton of choice. Default locations are parks and temples. Of the two I definitely would pick a temple over park. I have photographed at homes as well, which can work= given they have enough space and nice light. It can’t be stated enough, good photos always start with good light, that all there is to it.
