CSR & Development Photography Across Asia

Commissioned to document the Asian Development Bank's $2 billion clean energy push across Asia: solar and cow-dung gas in rural Nepal, wind farms in Maharashtra, water mills in Kavrepalanchok, geothermal in Sulawesi, methane reclamation in Shanxi, a jetty in Gujarat, LED technology in Guangzhou, and small-scale hydro in Negros Occidental. This extensive CSR project involved navigating remote locations to document sustainable development infrastructure.

Documentary brief for CARE Bangladesh focusing on food security and education in Northern Bangladesh. The project captured women in leadership roles within programs like “Food Security for the Ultra Poor in the Haor Region.” This NGO photography project required deep collaboration with local community organizations to document household capability improvements.

Documentary photography for FHI360 (USAID) covering HIV/AIDS vulnerability across Cambodian communities. This project focused on sensitive storytelling with sex workers, at-risk youth, and marginalized families in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap to document NGO public health initiatives.

Commissioned to complete a documentary CSR project for THPC’s 25th Anniversary in Laos. This involved producing a comprehensive visual narrative for a commemorative book documenting a $700M infrastructure project funded by the ADB. The brief included industrial photography of dam facilities and stakeholder portraits within upstream and downstream communities.

Documenting food security initiatives among the Chakma people for Helen Keller International. This project involved reaching remote communities on foot in the Chittagong Hill Tracts to document the resilience of ethnic minorities facing chronic food scarcity and land encroachment.

Documenting the SHIKHON and CHEVRON education programs for Save The Children Bangladesh. The photography highlights community-rooted literacy programs and non-formal school systems designed for marginalized children in rural Bangladesh.

Five camps across Thailand's remote border terrain documented for The Border Consortium. This humanitarian project captured daily life, portraits, and operational activities within self-governing refugee communities during a period of significant policy shifts.

Documenting twenty years of volunteer work with Father Joe Maier and the Mercy Centre in Bangkok's Klong Toei slum. The photography focuses on education, daily life, and HIV/AIDS support systems within Thailand's most densely populated urban community. Photo of President George W.
