Travel Photography from Around Asia and More
Canada, USA, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal Photography dating back to the mid-90s, when I moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and picked up a camera in earnest. I’m glad I had the chance to travel before FB and IG etc. I got off the beaten track and hung out in places like Battambang, Calcutta and Luang Prabang. Calcutta is an amazing city, everyone needs to go once. It’s not remotely what you think it is.
These journeys remind me how connected stories can be, whether it’s a festival in northern Thailand or a portrait session here at home.
These moments from the road remind me why I photograph — the quiet connections, the light that shifts from one country to another. If you’d like to see how this way of seeing translates to portraits, have a look at my Hong Kong family photography journal →.
